Kristopher Morehead (B.A., Ed.) (AIM Certified Teacher) is a middle school French teacher at Pipkin IB/MYP World School in Springfield, MO. He studied language pedagogy at Université Laval in Québec, Canada and is currently at Master’s candidate in Second Language Acquisition at Missouri State University. Kristopher maintains an active professional schedule, sharing his passion for proficiency and language teaching throughout the U.S. and Canada. He currently serves as Advocacy Chair and Past President for the Foreign Language Association of Missouri (FLAM), and was a key proponent in establishing the state Seal of Biliteracy by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Additionally, he holds professional memberships with the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), and serves as Advisory Council member for the Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (CSCTFL). Kristopher is a two time nominee (2015, 2016) for the ACTFL Leo Benardo Award for Innovation in K-12 Language Education. He is also a member of NNELL.
