Blogging while traveling is never as easy as it seems it would be.  WiFi is spotty and I’m tired at the end of the day, but I love the process of sharing this trip with others.

We’ve been in Monteverde for 3 days and wholeheartedly feel like this is a perfect place to bring a group of students.  The “Ticos” (Costa Ricans) are warm and caring people who have embraced our group, the Spanish is beautiful, the town is safe and small enough that the kids are able to have limited freedom.  We’ve run into many of them as they explore the town and figure out how to deal with the ATM’s and how to shop at the local markets.

Arriving in Monteverde was exciting but stressful for all involved including the 2 Profe’s.  We had not met the families and did not know what to expect.   We escorted…
